They’re making a new HERBERT WEST: REANIMATOR movie.

Note that they’re not reanimating RE-ANIMATOR, but going back to the source material: “A new take on H.P. Lovecraft’s Herbert West: Reanimator is officially in the works, and it’s coming from the minds behind The Haunting in Connecticut. Screenwriters Adam Simon and Tim Metcalfe are teaming up once again to adapt the classic horror story into a contemporary feature film.” Which is probably for the best. RE-ANIMATOR is very much its own thing: why try to recreate it, and fail?
