A few spots left in Bookcamp! and the last week of April
Hello, Write Edge readers! Spring is truly underway. Here in Central Illinois, we have lovely temperatures and everything is blooming. It’s a wonderful time to be here, and I’m grateful that we are.
It’s Monday, which is when I offer my (informal) Monday Motivation. Writers, there are still some spots left in the Novel-in-Progress Bookcamp happening this June in Racine, Wisconsin. This week-long event is a retreat, a series of workshops, and an opportunity for book coaching. Two tracks — all-genre fiction and speculative fiction — allow for plenty of room and time to meet others who write in the same hemisphere you do, and you get plenty of one-on-one time with agents, editors, workshop instructors, and other writers during the sessions and in between. I’ve been to several writing conferences, and Bookcamp truly is unique. I encourage you to check it out:

Last year was my first time at Bookcamp, and I had such a wonderful time and found so much meaning in the experience that I joined the board of directors. I don’t assign my loyalties lightly; when I commit to something, I’m there 100 percent because I believe in it 100 percent. It would be great if you could join us in Wisconsin! If you have questions, feel free to email me and I’ll be happy to answer them.
Last Friday I shared in my #bookreviewpreview what I #amreading for this week. Want to know what I thought of the time travel, magical realism novel The Edge of Yesterday by Rita Woods? Find out on Wednesday on The Write Edge Bookshelf!
On Thursday, we jump into a new month and a new quarter, which also means a new Thursday R.E.A.D.s. Find out later in the week which book I’ll be diving into for you during the month of May back on The Bookshelf.
Finally, on Friday, it’s back to Instagram and my writing and non-writing shenanigans. If you missed previous posts, find them now on the app with my handle, @EktaRGarg, or on my Facebook author page.
Have a great week, readers!
