A Hero's Arc concludes...maybe...
This Tuesday, around midnight my time, Galen’s Heart will become available in e-book and print formats. You can pre-order it, or buy it on Tuesday, right here.

If you haven’t already, you should check out the first two books: Galen’s Way and Galen’s Blade. They are a prequel series connected to John C. Wright’s amazing Starquest series. The third book in that series comes out on May 13th and book four is set for June 24th. There will be 12 books in John’s series by the time he is done.
As for my 4th Age books, this third book will mark the end of Galen Dwyn’s adventures in the 4th Age of humanity’s time in the Andromeda Galaxy. But it will not be the last 4th Age book, nor will it be Galen’s last appearance in the overall Starquest Universe. You’ll have to wait until that fourth and final book releases in the winter of 2026/2027 to find out what Galen’s ultimate fate will be in Cassandra’s Line. I have to wait that long because… well, spoilers would abound if I released it before John’s final book comes out. So you’ll just have to make do with this book cover reveal:

A character who plays a key role in Galen Dwyn’s story is the mysterious spectre, and distant ancestor, of Galen’s - Galen Underwood. So far, if you’ve been reading the series, you’ve been getting little glimpses into Underwood’s back story. In 2026, you’ll get the rest of the story in Ranger, a Starquest Pre-Migration Story.

So, space opera fans, hand on to your blasters, there’s a lot of your kind of adventure coming your way over the next two years.
In the meantime, I have three novels I will be working on in 2025 and early 2026. I’ve been toying with one of the book covers a lot and thought I had the final version nailed down. Until an intrepid book cover artist sent me a concept that I instantly fell in love with.
The novel in question is:

It’s a 1940’s Detective-Noir style story set on a space station on the far edge of the Milky Way galaxy in the not too distant future. And this cover nails the vibe I’m aiming for perfectly.
Here’s a peek at the other two projects I’ll be wrapping up as soon as I can:

So, as you can see, I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me. As soon as I have release dates on these books, you’ll be the first to know. For now, help me keep the lights on around here and get your copy of Galen’s Heart.
Thanks!!!
