Day 4,198: Flood

We watched the film Flow tonight. It was gorgeous, my god, and it was good, too. It was ambitious and thoughtful at the same time. It reminded me very much of Scavenger’s Reign in the way that it was far more meditative than it was narrative. I could feel very early on that it was working story-wise in the realm of metaphor rather than anything literal, and that’s always a fun place to be.
