Famous Flotation
We went up to the wooden boat show in Lake Arrowhead today. A beautiful drive in the mountains, gorgeous day. Tim treated us to amazing waffles at the famous Waffle Works.
The boat show was small but the boats, mostly Cris Crafts, were stunning. One in particular stood out. I liked it the best, but there was also a sign explaining its history. It was built in 1935 for a very rich man, who took both Ernest Hemingway and H. G. Wells for a spin in it! I wanted a ride sooooooo bad, but it was not to be.
