You are such an expert at making fantasy plausible, it's no wonder you saw the holes in Flow. I was not as sensitive to the things that didn't make sense, but I wanted a happy ending. V (age 10) must have wanted that, too, as she gave the film a thumbs down. It was fun watching it with her and her brother (13) and kind of narrating the action with them. V was pretty clear about the dusky parts being dreams. The ending seemed to say, 'This will keep happening, and what are you grownups going to do about it?' Like Lord of the Flies. And I hated Lord of the Flies. Disappointed.
