TODAY IS THE DAY! BLOOD Brothers Return with LURE!

I am stoked to be here and celebrating the release of Lure, the second of five books in the BLOOD Brothers series.  This is a series that should be read in order so if you have not read Burn, please pause and begin there.  If you are curious about where the BLOOD Brothers story came from, I shared some background on that in the foreword of Burn.  Be sure to read the foreword of Lure not only for a quick refresher of the events in book one, but also to find the trigger warnings and other notes.

 

Of all the dreams I’d ever chased, the last thing I expected was for a nightmare to be the one that came true.

I’m no stranger to survival. I’ve always acted a lot tougher than I am, but I’m a big believer in fake it until you make it. But even I couldn’t imagine the relentless pursuit of my former kidnappers, and the only thing standing in their way are four calculating and dangerous men.

Each time I think I’ve found some measure of relief, a new danger threatens to suffocate me. It’s not just about who I can trust anymore. No, everyone has an agenda—even me. Why else would I find myself attracted to the men who are keeping me prisoner?

More unsettling, these handsome, complicated men with fire in their eyes that burns hot and cold, do not appear to be in any hurry to let me go. It’s not up to them. It can’t be.

Not when I need answers. Not when I need to find my sister. Not when every moment that passes is an eternity that pushes her farther and farther away from me. I refuse to bow to anyone or anything.

I’d rather end up a casualty of the hunt than be kept hostage “for my own good” no matter how sexy my jailers are. In this twisted tableau of danger, desire, and deceit, I will take any risk to find her no matter what it costs me.
