According to Porter Anderson's post, the Association of American Publishers (AAP) has filed an amicus brief in the copyright infringement lawsuit against Meta. The case surrounds Meta's training of their AI with books used without the authors permission. Also included in the post are links to more information about the lawsuit including a copy of the amicus brief. Panzer says, "It came out in court that Meta got the books they used from a pirate site. Come on. A pirate site? And you think that's legal?" Note: This is a humongous post.
