Had a delightful chat with Faith Ijiga a short time ago. She hosts the Christian Readers Community Podcast, all the way from Nigeria. We talked about my transition from serving as a pastor for 25 years to becoming a bestselling fiction author for the last 15. Including my transition from starting as a traditionally published author to becoming an indie author in 2015. Which allowed me to also start writing Christian Fiction thrillers (along with the “Nicholas Sparks” kind of books that launched my career).
