Normal vs. Authentic

Normal: “When your aunt visits, don’t tell her how much property we own. Hide your jewellery. Otherwise she’ll ask for money“. Authentic: Yes, I own a lot. I don’t want to give you any of it. Normal: “She invited the whole family. You can’t just refuse the invitation. Make up a good excuse. Tell her you’re sick”. Authentic: I don’t want to visit you. Sick? No, not at all. I feel great.
