Did you know April is Indie Author Month?

I didn’t always see myself here—author, publisher, promoter, businesswoman, dreamer with ink-stained fingers, a coffee addiction to rival every Starbucks, and a nicotine habit that could probably fund a small tobacco farm. But here I am, standing proudly (on one leg and a titanium one), an indie author who took the leap and put her heart on the page. Reborn in Shadows: From the Ashes isn’t just a book—it’s a piece of my soul stitched together with grief, hope, rage, and resilience.

Being an indie author means I’m the one behind everything you see:
