100+ Games Will Have Compatibility and Start Up Issues on the Switch 2

The Nintendo Switch 2 is giving fans lots of new games, including Mario Kart World, and fans cannot wait to get the console in their hands. Many Switch games will come with a version that works with Switch 2, like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, Nintendo’s corporate account took to social media with a long list of over 100 games that will have issues on the Switch 2. 

In time, some of these issues may end up getting a resolution. A new gaming console gets upgrades and tweaks to make it better, after all. But we will have to see what happens there.

When it comes to these games that will have issues on the Nintendo Switch 2, there are two categories: issues at start-up and in-game compatibility issues.

For example, the Street Fighter 30th anniversary collection will start up on the new console but will have some compatibility challenges during gameplay. And, for the Fortnite fans among us, the game won’t even start. However, unlike others on that list, there are plans for a Switch 2 version of Fortnite
