Rimig's Reading/Watching List: April 2025

...y'all, last month was tough.

Thanks to my new job, I had to adjust to a new schedule. That, with the somewhat long drive I had to get there, left me little time to do a lot of things I like to do, like blogging, journaling, and reading books. Seriously, if y'all look at my activity on this site for the past month compared to the months before, it's a massive drop in activity.

But on the bright side, I still found time to get my most important task done: my writing. My fourth book is reaching the end of its final draft, and the third book is coming along nicely.

And once again, changes are happening for me, and I hope to be more active on my author platform in the future.

What I'm reading!

Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins: After being reaped in the 50th Hunger Games, where 48 kids are forced to fight to the death until only one remains, Haymitch Abernathy is caught up in a plan to sabotage the game's arena and humiliate the Capitol that created the event.
Once I finish this one, I want to update my series ranking to figure out where I place it on the list!

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien: In a fantasy world called Middle-Earth, loner Bilbo Baggins leaves his Hobbit Hole in search of adventure.
I'm really hoping to get into the Tolkien Legendarium soon! I hope I enjoy his works!

What I'm watching!

The Middle: A series following the Heck family in Orson, Indiana, a town in the very middle of the United States.

What I'm playing!

Mega Man Star Force 3: Red Joker: After saving the world two times over, Geo Stelar and Omega-Xis, who combine to become Mega Man, face a new threat in an evil organization known as Dealer, who use Noise, an electromagnetic disturbance, to carry out their misdeeds.
Easily the most underrated game I've ever played, with fantastic gameplay and an exceptional story that leaves me wishing we got more from this Mega Man sub-series.

Thanks for reading, y'all!
