Here There be Dragons (and Lilith Daniels)

As readers of the newsletter know, R.J. Blain / Lilith Daniels  (and all her AKAs) and I have been challenging each other to short/short/short story duels. At least that is what it has become — a series of writing challenges, (at dawn, with a glove slapped face, perhaps?). We are posting the challenges on our websites and PR materials and the shorts as giveaways on our own sites as fan-freebies. And since she made my challenge so difficult, I’m slyly upping the ante just a … just a dragon scale...
