Mutant cookies

I made cookies.

They turned out to be mutant cookies.  I've made them before and they've never been this ugly.

I've made these before.

They are really easy.  It's basically just sugar cookie dough and you split it in half, then add chocolate and candy cane bits to half of the half. The recipe is found here.  I've made them before.  And they are really, really good. But they've never been this ugly.  however, they've never been this tasty...
