Announcing my next book: “Seven Ways Through the Woods” written by Jenn Reese, and published by…

In the cover of "Seven Ways Through the Woods by Jenn Reese and Devin Elle Kurtz, we see a peachy-skinned girl with dark hair and dark eyes stand with her back to us, turning to look over her shoulder, beckoning us into the scene. She wears a red coat and a teal hat with a pom on top. Beyond her is a sparkling, dazzling green forest, with the silhouette of a leaping gryphon seen through the gap between mossy trees. ALTIn this interior artwork from the book, we see a black girl with small braids in two pigtails on the back of an orange gryphon, leaping from a mossy rock in the forest into a bright blue sky.ALTA procession of children, all of varying skin tones and wearing a rainbow of colorful outfits, race down a forest hill and leap across a sparkling creek in the afternoon sun. They spin and dance in joy.ALTA pale, blonde child wearing blue overalls and a pink sun hat stands atop the back of a shining, rainbow hydra of dragon-like serpents. The hydra forms a raft which drifts down the river in a forest lagoon. ALTHere we see an orange gryphon up close. It has stripes like a tiger, feathered wings, and stands on a mossy branch amidst leaves.ALTHere we see a big, expansive wide image of rolling hills in a forest clearing. A rainbow procession of children leaps through a bright green field on the right. Above them, rainbow dragon-like serpents weave through evergreen trees. A mossy giant with a cape of patchwork grasses towers above the treeline and walks with a walking stick. A woodland pixie sits on a treebranch in a foreground tree which bisects the painting. A red flower releases sparkling, golden pollen on the left. The sky is blue, and golden afternoon light pours diagonally from the left.ALT
