Progression to Upgrade
If you’re going to reach the world, this is what I’d say: Reach yourself.
Your personal relationship with Christ needs to grow and grow and grow. You do not know Jesus enough. I don’t care if you know Jesus better than anybody else around you; you can’t refuse to move into the next scary thing and the next scary thing and the next scary thing. The place you’re in now may be grand, but it will go sour if you stay there. We must continue our progression. Upgrade is such a big deal – upgrade your faith, be determined, and be consecrated to hearing God speak in a whole new way.
Even the disciples, in their exploration of the Holy Ghost while they were walking with Jesus, repeatedly came to a healthy determination that they had to have an increase in their own faith. “Lord, increase our faith!” Luke 17:5
You should have that determination and be saying: I need more faith. I have to be able to believe God. I need to be able to trust in the character of the Lord.
The only way that faith comes to you is by hearing; that means you will have to hear God speak in a whole new way. You’re going to have to have a value for pleasing the Lord every day. You have to want to please God. The Bible says that without faith, it is impossible to please God. When we get those things down, decide, “I’m growing today. I’m growing. I am. I want to see something I’ve never seen. I’m looking for something to blow my mind. I don’t care how subtle it is; I want to be changed.”
The people who follow the crowd and stay in the mob of acceptable cerebral faith are going to go no further than the crowd that they’re in. That’s why you should follow Jesus. Follow Him: You’ll find yourself in places where you’ve never seen anyone else before.

Which Wolf Do You Feed?
Jesus-driven thinking helps and heals. This is what the Bible has to say on the subject: For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. – Romans 8:6
The Cherokee nation knew it, too. Check out this spot-on tribal tale:
An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life. He told the boy, “A terrible fight is going on inside me. It is a fight between two wolves. One wolf is evil. He is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and self-doubt."
The old man continued: “The other wolf is good. He is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.” He then told the boy, “This same fight is going on inside you and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute, then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The wise old chief replied, “The one you feed.”
What wolf have you been feeding? Just know the wolf of evil thoughts will eventually devour you, and likely others as well. Thoughts become actions, and there is always collateral damage.
That’s not you! You can control your thought life and ensure the evil wolf starves to death.
et_pb_blurb"}"> Progression to Upgrade If you’re going to reach the world, this is what I’d say: Reach yourself. Lord, Increase my faith! I know You have more to speak to me and to show me. I am intentional about making myself available to You. I want the fullness of a relationship with You more than anything. Your goodness makes all the difference in my life. I praise you, Lord!
