Also, it’s in Brussels, Belgium, housing used books from Antwerp and Ghent. Perhaps in addition to the obsession with chocolate and breakfast foods, my penchant for books is also genetic. One more reason I’m proud to have Belgian blood flowing through these veins.

How do they keep weather from affecting it? They don't, I guess?

Yeah, I wondered the same thing, especially since it rains a lot in Belgium. Maybe they have plastic or something that they can pull down when it gets rainy.When I saw this, I thought how I'd like to browse those books -- but then realized they wouldn't be in English, anyway. :p
