While technology plays an increasingly significant role across many fields, not all academic disciplines are primarily technology-oriented. However, the influence of technology can be observed to varying degrees across different areas of study.
Or we can say, that technology-enabled disciplines can accelerate the pace of advancement. Here is a breakdown of how technology interacts with various academic disciplines:
STEM Fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics): These disciplines are inherently technology-oriented. Advances in technology constantly shape research methods, tools, and applications in fields such as computer science, engineering, biology, and physics.
