Some weeks

Some weeks are more challenging than others, and this one definitely qualifies. I’ve worked a long stretch of days. The first week of the month in retail is always a high traffic week. Add to that two trucks to unload and put away plus, plus, plus, and it’s been a little much for this old girl. Not complaining, I’m thankful for my job, but this week I’ve been in my jammies by six. By seven, I’ve been in bed with a book! I’ve gotten behind on a lot of things.

Last night’s dishes are still in the sink.

I ran out of biscuits so Miss Emma had to settle for Saltines this morning.

I looked out the window and discovered my pretty, red car, that I just washed last week, is covered with dirt Evidently we had a dirty rain overnight because of the dust storms taking place. As far as they can tell, it came to us courtesy of Texas. (Rude, y’all, lol.) So that will mean another trip to the car wash.

My inbox is overflowing with notifications of your blog posts I haven’t had a chance to read. I enjoy them so much and look forward to reading them soon. After today I will have a few days off to catch my breath and catch up! How’s your week going?
