The final episode (in ongoing series?) continues the timeline of the Israeli/Hamas war through January 2024

January 16 – At day 100, Israel has killed 25,000 Gazan civilians. US declares Ansar Allah (the Houthis) a terrorist group. After IDF kills second Israeli hostage, protests escalate calling for Netanyahu’s resignation. After bombing 70% of Gaza’s schools and 200 teachers, Israel bombs Gaza’s last university. Israel drops leaflets over Gaza promising rewards for information regarding the location of hostages.

January 18 – Negotiations in Qatar over Hamas offer to release 130 captives in return for two month ceasefire. Israel refuses.

January 19 – Responding to rumors Israel plans to expel the entire population of Gaza into Egyptian territory (the Sinai desert), Egyptian government warns Israel to stay away from the Philadelphi corridor.

January 20 – 21 IDF troops killed while planting bomb in Gazan homes.

January 21 – US launches rocket attack against Ansar Allah.

January 22 – Iraqi resistance launches misilles against major Israei targets.

January 23 – Houthis announce any country joining forces with Israel will have their commercial vessels attacked.

January 24 – Israeli rockets target the Iraqi resistance, which respond with rocket attacks against US air base in Iraq. Massive Israeli protest demanding Netanyahu’s resignation. Two Hezbollah rocket attacks incapacitate Israel’s iron dome rockets and radar system

January 26 – International Court of Justices agrees to investigate whether Israel has committed genocide in Gaza and asks Netanyah to “try to reduce civilian casualties
