Happy Birthday To Me!

While I am not averse to going out for dinner and having a cake with lots of icing for my birthday, there’s really not much else I need.

But I am taking this opportunity to ask for gifts—just not for me.

I am fortunate to have access to whatever books I want from my local library and bookstores. But not everyone has that privilege—and I do consider it a privilege to be able to get whatever books I want whenever I want them, and to have the time to read them.
