MISDIRECTED releasing on 4th February

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday period and New Year!

As usual, time is flying by already (I don't know what happened to 2024—not the best year for a lot of us, but it also felt like the quickest year of my lifetime.)

So hard to believe that it's almost February already, but very excited that my first Audible Original, MISDIRECTED, is releasing two weeks from today on the 4th February. Narrated/performed by Derry Girls and Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan and Midsomer Murders and The Great's Gwilym Lee, it's a full-length contemporary rom-com about two actors on a Victorian-era period drama. The heroine, Hattie, has accidentally stumbled into her acting career and is not exactly impressed, to say the least, when she realises that her character, Iris, has been given a new romance arc in the show—with the arrogant series villain, Victor, played by the equally arrogant and insufferable Anthony.

The audiobook is available for preorder now on Audible. If you pick it up, I really hope you enjoy it! xx I've heard a sample and unsurprisingly the narration is amazing. (Very honoured that Nicola and Gwilym are the voices of Hattie and Anthony, and I think they must have been meant to be the narrators of this book, since there are coincidentally passing references in the story to both Midsomer Murders and a book that I see is now being adapted into a film in which Nicola has been cast. :-)
