They’re on their way!

After ordering months ago, new copies of both Call Me Rumpel and The Beaumont Egalitarian Society are on their way!

I’m both excited and nervous to see what the new cover of Call Me Rumpel looks like. I’m really hoping the colours turn out to my liking this time, yet as I write this, the darker version has grown on me. In saying that, I have two copies left of the original dark cover (the only difference is the intensity of the green leaf background) if anyone would like to snag them before these new copies arrive (estimated either this week or next week).

I noticed a few weeks ago the shop page seemed to repeat listings rather than the individual books or package deal. I *think* I’ve fixed it, but may need to try a different approach/set-up with PayPal to make sure it’s working as it should. If you are currently interested in placing an order for a signed copy/copies and having trouble, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll get it sorted for you!

I’m also pleased to announce that I’ve made some progress with the bookmark project (still toying with the best pattern for the book covers). I already have two ready to be listed, and will be aiming to sell them singularly, in packs of 2/5, or combine them with the books to cut down on postage costs where possible.

I’m hoping soon to also create some reading buddies. Small plush mice and foxes will soon be up for adoption, complete with little outfits and mini books; the perfect company for both cosy days reading and your little ones.

I hope you’re all having a wonderful start to the year. For me, it’s been pretty decent, spent mostly working on my stories and sewing projects and dancing around with the quoll families who have now taken up residence in the shipping containers in our front yard.

In saying that, I know there are many, many people around the world who are not, and I cannot in good conscience right this post without knowing there are more important things happening right now than this small business. My heart goes out to those who have lost their lives, homes, businesses, or simply gone through the fear of not knowing and evacuating the fires currently running ramping in Los Angeles. My heart also goes out to the many people who lost their lives and homes in the recent earthquakes in Tibet. I will soon be sharing links to places you can donate to help victims of both devastating natural disasters if you are willing and able to.

Please stay safe,

~Jennifer xx
