Animating a Vision with Teamwork
Currently in pre-production, our upcoming animation project is a thrilling step into collaboration. For the first time, I’m bringing on a team of four talented animators to bring this story to life. This project isn’t just about creating a film; it’s a study in teamwork and delegation, moving away from the “do-it-all-yourself” approach. We aim to submit the final product to film festivals this year, showcasing the power of small but mighty teams. I can’t wait to introduce to you some of the most amazing animators you’ll want to get to know.
Revisiting “The Social Challenge”
Our short film The Social Challenge is finally getting the attention it deserves. After encountering some critical issues in the initial edit, we’re exploring innovative AI video tools to enhance and repair the film. These tools offer exciting possibilities to breathe new life into the project, and we’re optimistic about sharing an updated version soon.
Marketing Our Literary Works
For years, the novels and short stories under the DesktopEpics banner have suffered from a lack of marketing. That changes now. We’ve launched an advertising campaign on Amazon to better connect our stories with readers around the world. This renewed focus on promotion is a commitment to doing justice to the works we’ve poured so much heart into.
Celebrating Predawn’s Accomplishments
We are deeply grateful for the recognition our short film Predawn has received over the past year. The awards and festival selections are a testament to the incredible effort of the cast and crew, and we couldn’t be prouder. This success energizes us to keep pushing the boundaries of storytelling and filmmaking.
The Legacy of Self-Rising Flower
Though Self-Rising Flower concluded in July 2024, its impact continues to resonate worldwide. From Germany to Nigeria, the audio drama averages one to two episodes played daily somewhere around the globe. This enduring connection with audiences reminds us of the power of storytelling to transcend borders and time.
Setting Goals for 2025
Our focus for the new year is to stay consistent in the industry. We’re planning to enter more festivals and explore additional audio dramas that build on the success of Self-Rising Flower.
