I’m so excited to connect with you here on Goodreads and share a little bit about the journey that inspired my Real Expat series. As someone who has lived and worked across borders for years, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges and rewards of building a life abroad. From navigating cultural differences to finding financial independence in unfamiliar markets, every step has been an adventure—and one that I wanted to capture in my writing.

How It All Started

The Real Expat series started as a way to share practical advice for expatriates and entrepreneurs, but it’s grown into so much more. Now, it’s also a space for storytelling—memoirs, fiction, and even essays that explore the beauty and complexity of multicultural life. My goal is to inspire readers to embrace global opportunities and see the world through new lenses.

Why This Series Is Personal

For me, writing these books has been deeply personal. I’ve poured my own experiences into every page while also drawing inspiration from the incredible people I’ve met along the way—fellow expats, entrepreneurs, and families living extraordinary lives across borders.
