IN TIME

With time to wander

I wandered

Through cobbled streets,

Eyes in the sky,

Seeking gargoyles

And angels,

Amused by tourists screeching with delight

At a cathedral built over eleven centuries

Yet far more famous for a television series

Than for Hallelujahs.
