Well, the Australia V India Test Cricket series has been and still is, fascinating. India is a strong team, but both sides have played some erratic innings! The series is tied at one all, one draw and the 4th Test looks like it will be a draw as well, so probably Sydney will see the decider starting January 3rd.
It's a long way to go to the next Australia V England series, which starts here in November '25. I think we will see the possible retirements of the likes of Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith and Mitch Starc. But new talent is on the way and hopefully will be settled in by the time of the First Test.
I did not know the following:
"The two Test giants will lock horns in the brand-new World Test Championship final of 2025-27 over one and a half months and will try to make early claims for the tickets to the Final in 2027."
Sounds like fun for lovers of Test Cricket!
Cheers,
Terry

πWishing you and Adrienne the very same, my fine friend! π€
The cricket involving Australia, England and India has been so exciting in 2024 and I'm looking forward to more of the same in 2025!

A possibly belated "Thank you", Kevin, although I think I may have reciprocated in another post!
In the meantime, the Aussie Women have retained their "Ashes Trophy", in a hybrid series comprising 3 x ODIs, 3 x T20s, and 1 x 4-days Test. ODIs and T20s are worth two points for a win, and the Test is worth four points, a total of sixteen points of which the Aussie have already earned eight. I have watched all four matches played so far and I have enjoyed them - there are some very talented players in both teams.
Cheers,
Terry
