Putting Up the Tree Photo Session

While she is putting up the Christmas tree, Summer's human uses her for photos and video and Summer shares the pictures that resulted.

Do you remember yesterday’s post about cat-proofing the Christmas tree? My human wanted to shoot video with a couple of the tips while she was putting up the tree. And of course, she always takes a few photos along the way. They came out really nicely, so I’m sharing them here.

In this photo, the tree wasn’t fully assembled. I’m posing with just the first two tiers.

The top part of the tree was still in the box.

Once she finished putting it together, she plugged it in to make sure the lights were working. And had me pose in front of it.

Then it was time for her to bring out the ornaments, and I had to pose with the containers.

Here’s another pose I did.

Here’s the box where my human stores some of the more unique and special ornaments.

And here I am, sitting next to the open ornament box.

Can you tell I wasn’t particularly curious about any of this? I know people expect cats to be curious and get into everything. But apparently that sort of behavior was too much of a stretch for me. After all, I’ve seen these holiday decorations 9 times before!

I’ll let you know if the video ever gets made.
