Monthly Reading Wrap-Up: November 2024
Hello everyone,
My Halloween movie marathon was a bust. However, I have no one to blame but myself. I didn't set the time down to watch the Halloween movies. However, for this month, I will be preparing with two months of Christmas movies. Here's the list of movies we have goals to watch: (Bold indicates that we did watch it)Frosty The SnowmanThe GrinchA Year Without A Santa ClausThe Santa ClauseThe Santa Clause 2The Santa Clause 3ElfDeck The HallNestor The Long-Eared Christmas DonkeyHome AloneHome Alone 2Rudolph The Red-Nosed ReindeerThe Miser's Brothers ChristmasPolar ExpressBarbie & The NutcrackerDeck The HallsThere are more, but we're starting out watching these ones. Do you start celebrating the Holidays in November or December?
- Amy :)
September 17th - November 9th New Moon
Stephenie Meyer
Book 2 of 4
I loved these book series when I was younger! It was great rereading it, but I do think it added unnecessary detail.
September 18th - November 15th
These Bodies Between Us
Sarah Van Name
I won this in a GoodReads giveaway.
I liked the story and the friendship between the girl. I could have predicted the ending, but it was a campy feeling.
September 18th - November 15th Heist Society
Ally Carter
Book 1 of 3
Reread this as an adult and I still loved it. 4 stars.
October 30th - November 17th
One of Us Is Back
Karen M. McManus
Book 3 of 3
I loved this series! Surprisingly, it did not fall in quality like most book series do.
October 3rd - November 29th
The Best Way To Bury Your Husband
Alexia Casale
I loved the thought out process through this and sided with the wives! I predicted the ending and I thought it was too overdone, but I enjoyed it.
3.5 stars
September 19th - November 30th The Road
Cormac McCarthy
3 stars
I originally had to buy this for a reading class when I was in high school. After rereading it, I appreciate it a lot more than I originally did. It still drives me nuts that there no quotation marks!
