On Inanity, Insanity, and a Duct-Taped Banana as Art

In the news again: A banana taped to the wall selling for an obscene amount of money as “art”. It is a perfect metaphor for not only the complete and total bankruptcy of the art world today, but also of society’s communal mental breakdown. I for one have had enough of it.
