Stay-At-Home Dad: $285K/Year Quietly Teaching What He Knows

Leo TrieuLeo TrieuFounder of Code4Startup $285,000 average annual revenue

Leo Trieu is the founder of Code4Startup

a Saas Code School for Founders, Marketers, Freelancers & more

He teaches coding via video tutorials, gives a lot away for free and charges $39/month for extras 🤑

Leo writes that he’s a stay-at-home dad of 2 kids, and…

Being a solo founder and a maker, I crossed $2M milestone over the course of 7 years by teaching thousands of people how to code and build meaningful stuff.

💬 He recently tweeted

Just crossed $150K+ teaching AI – and it all started from the gold I found in this community on Twitter (X).

Presumably that’s $150K in the last ~2 years.

He only has ~2200 followers on X, and no huge following elsewhere 🤯

Best I can tell, his main marketing channel is Udemy, where he has one free + one paid course with ~145,000 students combined.

Goes to show that you can chip away online teaching what you know and earn a great income, no massive social media presence required.

What could you teach? 🤔
