what’s next?

Now that CLOAK OF ILLUSION is out, what is next for me?

First up will be ORC-HOARD, the fourth book in the HALF-ELVEN THIEF series. I am currently 37,000 words into the book, and I hope to have it out before Christmas.

My secondary project is now SHIELD OF DECEPTION, and I am 1,000 words into it. I am glad that I am getting an advanced start on it, because the outline has thirty-one chapters, and lately that number has tended to go up in editing. It’s been a while since I’ve tackled a book that long!

Anyway, if all goes well, I hope ORC-HOARD will be the last book I publish in 2024 and SHIELD OF DECEPTION will be the first book I publish in 2025.
