Strange Days

Something weird happened yesterday.  I was re-reading and revising the novel so far (working title:  Winter's End) off the icloud version when I discovered that Chapter III had been text clipped out of existence.  All that was left was its title.  I'd never heard of text clipping before nor had I asked for it nor did there seem to be any way to undo it.  Luckily, I'd also saved a version to my laptop and had sent copies to two friends, so it wasn't the disaster it could have been.  But my faith in icloud has been shaken.  I thought it was safe.  Has anyone heard of such a thing happening before?

Otherwise, slowly, I may be coming out of my writer's block, although I haven't written any new material so far.  This has been an awful year, in more ways than one.
