TEODORO A. AGONCILLO is a byline on a textbook to many people. He was National Scientist and nationalist historian, but to me he was both mentor and friend.
Remembering him today, his 112th birth anniversary, with a note he sent for my 23rd birthday. Since he died in 1985 I continually strive to live up to his expectations.
