Weekly Update – October 15, 2024

This past weekend was not what I’d hoped it would be. The author event I had on Saturday was, to put it plainly, a bust, with one attendee who didn’t buy anything. I think the fact that it was a beautiful fall Saturday in New England — on a long weekend when there were hundreds of other things going on — worked against us. Oh, well. Onward.

The rest of the weekend was spent in The Writer’s Block working on The Great Rock & Roll Time Trip Tour, which continues to come together nicely. One fun little detail is, the book will have a “playlist” of sorts. Song titles double as chapter titles and I reference a lot of rock songs in the story, so I’m listing all the songs at the beginning of the story so readers can “listen along” if they like. I might set up a publicly accessible Spotify channel for that purpose. We’ll see.
