The Jungle Heroes journey till now -
The first five books of The Jungle Heroes are the origin story of each hero and come under the “Guardian of Nature” series of books, as in how they visit jungles and make friends with animals and birds. The sixth book is where they all meet each other and the alien Zorith and then rise together as the Jungle Heroes.
It was very important to write these books separately and in continuation because once the adventures start, why and how, and which animals/birds come to their rescue will become intrinsic to the storyline. Sometimes all the animals will come together, while sometimes only one or two will come to their side to help with adventures.
The set books 7 - 11 were also very important, because as their individual stories Sunny displayed the powers the jungle heroes got as a boon from Zorith and how they use them. This is for kid readers to understand how their powers will be utilized in future adventures.
To repeat their powers, Alex has the power of super strength and courage. He can fight with bears, lift a car with his bare hands, and jump like Tarzan around the jungle canopy. But he is not invulnerable and can get hurt.
Oliver has the power to understand the supernatural, which makes him wise and highly intellectual. With these experiences, he will develop a high IQ brain and will be the most intelligent of all heroes. Every hero has their strength and weaknesses, but Oliver will guide them on how to use their abilities at the right time in their adventures and while fighting villains.
Max has the power to talk with all living creatures telepathically. He can talk in his mind and the birds and animals obey his commands. He can make them do amazing feats and will become all the species' alpha. Not only will he use them to guide, look, and fight in his adventures, but also settle disputes between them and they will all follow his commands.
Liam has the power to control the elements of nature - wind, earth, fire, water, and soon space. He can cause flash floods, create tornadoes to travel anywhere, cause fire to fall from the sky and later in the series will have the power to teleport using the space element. But as a kid, these powers are very dangerous to handle and thus he will always require some lessons and help from other heroes to manage it.
Noah has the power of healing and restoration of living things using his music. He can heal any living creature and this ability will come in handy while fighting battles with the villains. He has learned how to use a guitar, but in the future, he will learn other instruments as well, which will give him even greater and unique abilities.
The story of jungle heroes is occurring in another parallel universe, Earth. There has been a decline in nature protection and the environment in their world and very few care for animals and nature. Ironically, they do not have religions on their home planet. But there are mythical creatures like dragons and griffins in their world. As the storyline develops, they will soon come to our Earth and their adventures here will come under another book series called “The Guardians of Earth”.
In the long run, they will travel through the multi-universes, which will come under the book series “The Guardians of the Multiverse”. Each of these series will be separate from the other, yet they all will be a continuous theme, interlinking with each other.
Multiverse Stories series are special books that revolve around the heroes, allies, creatures, and villains of the Jungle Heroes series, incorporating them later in the main story timeline of the five Jungle Heroes. These origin story books allow us to introduce the allies, creatures, villains, and new heroes before including them in the main series timeline.
Now from the next book set - Jungle Heroes’ true adventures will start when they meet their first supervillain - Cheemo. To know about Cheemo, read its origin story in the Multiverse book- ‘The Fury of Dragon Emberclaw’. Book 5.
Sunny hopes that you, as a reader, like how the storyline is developing, and he is planning to create another 32 books in the series soon. His attempt is to create an Indian artist’s animal comic stories setting which will resonate with children all around the world, just like Jungle Book did.
