What do Stephen Fry, Nick Cave, and ChatGPT have in common? A letter, written by Nick Cave, about ChatGPT, that is read out loud by the inimitable Stephen Fry. The reading is short, only about four minutes, but well worth every second:

For those who are not familiar with Nick Cave, he’s a singer-songwriter with an odd, gravelly voice and sharp, pointy lyrics. I’m not a huge fan myself, but I do love this one song that was used to promote South Australian tourism. The contrast between the idyllic visual images and the dark lyrics of the song really appealed to me.
