Review: VOICES AND VISIONS by LaShell Collins

For Sidney, it was “wrong place, wrong time.” She was pretty sure she witnessed a murder, but all she caredabout was getting away. The narrative spends a good portion dictating herprecise movements of looking out at every corner as she drives and walks to herfront door. Okay, we get it already: she got away. Next, we go to a detectivewith psychic abilities and a dead body. We don’t even get to see his abilities.Meanwhile, Sidney’s a nervous wreck. The narrative as nice, but the story wasway too slow. I’m sure it develops more as you get deeper into it, but I wasalready bored out of my mind. Just too boring!
