Salsomaggiore, falls from the scaffolding and dies at the age of 70

Mauro MoriniA 70-year-old resident of the Case Cavallo area in Grotta di Pellegrino (Salsomaggiore) died on Wednesday afternoon from injuries sustained after falling from a scaffolding. The man was working at a height of five meters on a construction site when he fell. Others present at the time of the incident raised the alarm.

Aid from Fidenza arrived at the scene, in via Pirani in the Sant’Antonio district, while the air ambulance, which had taken off from Parma, landed remotely at the Francani sports field. Resuscitation efforts were futile, nothing could be done for the man. The findings are the responsibility of the carabinieri from the Salsomaggiore company and the occupational medicine staff of the local health administration, responsible for establishing the exact dynamics of what happened.
