Fluid: Channeling Morpheus 8 re-release!

Wild Bill and his baby bluesFluid
Channeling Morpheus 8 (Second Electronic Edition)

It's been a couple of decades since Wild Bill has been able to savor the bite of an ice-cold, freshly tapped keg. Twenty-odd years since the shivery pucker of a cheap, boxed wine has assaulted his palate. But that doesn't mean Bill's forgotten how to party.

Wild Bill and Michael have holed up in a week-to-week hotel in an iffy Milwaukee neighborhood, and even though it's been a year or two, the fringe art happenings are just as edgy as Bill remembers.

There's a girl covered in frosting in the middle of the hors d'ouvres table, and she's begging them to dip. And the host of the party wants to lure them into the range of his mechanical eye. It's all fun and games, until a tryst turns deadly.

Note: this is a re-release of Sweet Oblivion: Fluid originally published in 2009 by Changeling Press

(An aside, I saw the photographer blogged about this particular shot of the Wild Bill model. I think it was her favorite. She said this was why she liked working with pros!) (Bill is a professional model...that's sexy.)

Mandapanda Jordan are you publishing these books with new covers as paperbacks as well? It's just that I have all the old ebook versions but I'd love to have print copies as well with these brilliant covers.

Jordan Price Hi Mandy, the print versions are already available: Channeling Morpheus for Scary Mary and A Bitter Taste of Sweet Oblivion. The left sidebar of the Channeling Morpheus site has links to the books in various countries. Thanks for asking!

Johanna Michael and Wild Bill are one of my favorite couples ever! :) After reading the ebooks I just HAD TO by the two print versions too! I do love ebooks for making reading so much easier since I have my library with me where ever I go, but there is just something special about holding and browsing a book that you really, really love.

My Channeling Morpheus for Scary Mary (Channeling Morpheus, #1-5) by Jordan Castillo Price and A Bitter Taste of Sweet Oblivion (Sweet Oblivion, #1-5) by Jordan Castillo Price are on the nightstand within hand's reach companied by Manna Francis' The Administration series, waiting for Josh Lanyon's Come Unto These Yellow Sands to arrive. And all these books also have BEAUTIFUL covers! :)

I addore all the Channeling Morpheus/Sweet Oblivion covers. Jordan, I think you managed to make them absolutely perfect - both times. And the cover models for Michael and Bill couldn't be more fitting!

I love hearing that, Johanna! These cover models really do contribute to the fantasy for me. Especially Wild Bill and those lips of his. Very distracting!

Yup. I see what you mean. :) There is also something so distractingly James Deanish about him... *sigh* He is like the perfect combination of James Dean and young Billy Idol! Perfect.

Jordan Price If Wild Bill heard you say that, his ego would be insufferable for at least a night or two :D

LOL. :) Huh... would it even be possible to have a bigger ego (even for just a couple of nights)?! *grin*

Jordan Price It's complicated, though. He knows he's hot, but he thinks everything he touches turns to shit.

message 11: by Celine (new)

Celine hmm yeah Wild Bill and Michael :) I really like Michael, i can just about picture him with his beautiful eyes and tight jeans... one of those guys who can pull off living in the back of a van and still manage to look yummy

I've going through this series at warpspeed.... such fun reads!

I'm so happy you're finally reading this series, Celine! I was just talking about Wild Bill and Michael elsewhere and thinking that these books are one of my favorite comfort reads (along with Vic and Jacob, of course!). I always tend to go back to them, when I need cheering up.

How wonderful it is to read this. It's about the last thing I'd expect anyone to say about Channeling Morpheus given how harrowing the plot can get and how nasty the sex tends to be, and so I enjoy it all the more for that :D

You've made my day, thank you.

I think it's the beautiful feel of melancholy, the vulnerability of their relationship and the way these guys communicate through that nasty sex. ;) Perfectly comforting. :)

Totally! I can't imagine what kind of greasy wreck I'd look like if I lived in a van. Or maybe I can...and it's not pretty!

It's so gratifying to know you get this out of the stories - YAY!
