Matthew Kilpatrick loved this piece.
1. to your point about reviving stuff from the 20th century, any time you do that you involve a portion of the fanbase that's older and has boomer brain and quails at the idea of anything that might be "woke".
2. Scott Pilgrim wasn't a huge success?? I had no idea, I love that movie so much.
3. The one and only good thing that angry fan backlash accomplished was getting us a better Sonic the Hedgehog design. That is it. end of list.
