Fatal crash south of Toulouse: 45-year-old man killed after being hit by motorist

A 45-year-old man died after being hit by a car driver on Monday in the town of Nuits (Hauts-Garonne). Emergency services moved to the scene, but were unable to revive the victim.

A terrible tragedy left the city of Nuits (Haut-Garonne) and its 2,950 inhabitants in mourning on Monday 30 September. South of Toulouse, at the end of the day, a 45-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the road, was hit by a motorist on the D617 regional road, Toulouse road. The violent collision occurred shortly before 10 p.m. The circumstances of this violent incident are still unknown.

The Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) reports that firefighters from Carbone Doctors and SAMU were dispatched to the scene. First aid was administered to the victim, but he was eventually declared dead.

An investigation has been opened to try to shed light on the circumstances of this incident.
