Nowadays the barrow of this megalithic tomb is restored, but all the megaliths are lost. It is the southern-most known megalithic site in the Netherlands and has an interesting isolated position. The nearest other megalithic sites are 30km away in the East (Lingen-Rheine group) and 35km in the North (Drenthe South-group). (see our interactive map )
