Poem: Where is My Hero

Good morning everyone. Take I would like to share a poem from my latest book, “Land of Flat Water: Poetry and Recollections.” It’s a book collecting mostly poetry that I wrote while growing up in Lincoln, Nebraska. A lot has changed since I was a teenager, but I find these stories and poems reveal a great deal about myself at the time. There are experiences that I think are fairly universal with adolescence and young adulthood that I think you can relate to.
