2 Be Better Podcast Scam Alert
The popular scam that aims to steal your social media account is now pretending to be the 2 Be Better Podcast, hosted by Chris & Peach, and sponsored by Starbucks. This is the first one I’ve seen that gives you a choice between Facebook or Instagram.
What is the 2 Be Better Podcast Scam?If this is your first time getting one of these e-mails and you’ve found this blog post, this is a popular podcast scam tactic that’s been happening for a couple years. They target high-profile accounts, then steal the account under the guise of helping you set-up for the podcast.
The scammers create a G-Mail account with the podcast name, so that’s your first tip-off that it isn’t really from the real podcast. They will offer you compensation, usually around $1000 – $3000 for just an hour of your time. Once you respond positively, then they will schedule a day and time to help you prepare and set-up.
Here’s the Initial E-mail, Not Really From 2 Be Better:Dear Candy Keane,

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,

The helpful set-up session is where they will either walk you through adding them in a way that they can take over, or they will ask to screenshare. It’s usually during the screensharing that they steal your page, remove you as admin, and take over.
Once they do that, it becomes incredibly difficult to reach anyone at Facebook for help.
I’m not sure exactly how they do it for Instagram, but I’m figuring it involves your Meta business account, where they would have access to both accounts. I’m actually waiting for a reply from the scammers to dig more into that angle.
What is the 2 Be Better Podcast? The 2 Be Better podcast really is hosted by Chris Burkett and Peach, but that’s pretty much the only truth to the e-mail. They have no idea they are being used as a front for a scam. Also, I’ve tried e-mail these big-name podcasts, like the recent Call Her Daddy scam, and they never reply back!
The podcast focuses on topics like self-improvement, relationships, and personal growth and delves into issues such as mental health, communication, and traditional marriage values. It originally started on TikTok, where Chris and Peach shared their insights on relationships, conflict resolution, and the challenges of modern life. Due to popular demand, they transitioned into a full podcast format and built a supportive community on platforms like Patreon.
The show explores life experiences, personal struggles, and success stories, offering practical advice on topics like managing emotions, overcoming trauma, and building strong partnerships. Chris emphasizes men’s mental health, while Peach advocates for empathy and reflection in daily life. Though they are not professional therapists, their podcast is intended to provide entertainment and relatable discussions from their own life experiences.
You can find the podcast on platforms such as YouTube and Amazon Music, as well as their website for more resources and episodes.
