I learned how to build an extension and launched my first extension within like 2-3 days… today it’s at about $20-30K MRR.
If you want to do something similar, Saeed recommends two approaches 
The first is to build an extension for “an existing really big platform.”
Examples: Gmail, Roblox, Facebook.
They already have all these users… just build the extension and those users will find you.
The other approach is to target platforms that have an existing marketplace but a smaller user base 
Examples: Zoom, Salesforce.
It’s a lot easier to compete… they have less users but at the same time they have less people building for those platforms.
