Many important arguments have already been raised in the discussion on the proposed changes to the Law on the Polish Academy of Sciences (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2020, item 1796), but it seems that some of them have not been sufficiently heard. The proposed change focused on the issues of control and supervision, but it is important to underline that from the point of view of the activities of the PAS scientific institute, such a reform concept is simply a missed opportunity.
