Get to know: The Hidden Hotel’s Newest Employee

With the first book of The Hidden Hotel releasing next week, it’s time for the final of these character intro posts! And the main event has been saved for last: our main character, Dahlia Lille, the poor hapless heroine who has suddenly been thrown into being the only human employee at a hotel for supernatural beings. 

Inspiration

Growing up in foster care, Dahlia has always been painfully aware that once she graduated from high school, she would be all on her own with no support. But our darling heroine is responsible, resourceful, and a planner, so she’s got everything all worked out! That is, until she suddenly loses her job before even starting, taking away her ability to pay for the apartment she had lined up.

So Dahlia simply can’t refuse when she gets an offer for a job she doesn’t remember applying for at a hotel she can’t find any record of online. Nor can she run away when she discovers the hotel is for supernaturals – and ones who are none to fond of humans to boot – given she has nowhere to run to. 

Not that this will make our plucky heroine give up! She’s sure she can make it through anything and still carve out a life of her own planning. Though the handsome hotel owner hating her on sight makes things a little more complicated . . .
