The last week of August…

Hello, Write Edge readers! It’s the last week of August, and here in Central Illinois the month is ending as a scorcher. I’m so grateful to be able to have a place that is climate-controlled so I can continue working on great content for all of you.

First, it’s the last Monday of the month, which means my monthly writers’ showcase. Check out what pieces caught my eye recently. You can see them now on The Write Edge Writing Workshop.

Last week I shared what I #amreading in my Instagram #bookreviewpreview. This Wednesday you’ll get to find out what I thought of There Are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak. Come back in the middle of the week for my thoughts on the book.

Then, on Friday, we go back to Instagram for your peek into my writing and non-writing activities. You’ll also get the latest episode of my writing podcast, Biblio Breakdown. Missed previous episodes? Find them all by going now to my author website.

If you’re experiencing really hot temperatures, readers, please stay hydrated and in the shade as much as possible. Also, don’t forget to tell a loved one you care about them. Life is too short not to.

E.R.G.
